Gold-leaf entrance
The first gesture is a detail.
An entrance introduces the character of a home. In this Paris project, the security-door panelling sits within a composition of mouldings, panels and ornamental motifs. Pale lacquer lets the carving stand out, while gold leaf brings accents and depth.
